I visited the facility in Simi Valley today. It is an impressive facility, with lots to see and hear and think about. I more or less sped throughout the “tour” part, where videos and docents and others give brigs presentations about different aspects of his life and times. Having experienced him as a governor and as a president, I took pictures of things I wanted, then went to Air Force One, and the Berlin Wall/Rose Garden.a cup of coffee was $3.00, so I had them break a hundred that was burning a hole in my pocket. Truly, a nice way to spend a couple of hours. When I did pause to see/hear the information given, I thought it had a familiar ring to it, like what I’m hearing decade after decade – “same old, same old” as they say. Oh well…
